President Trump and The Pimp

In all likelihood, President Trump's immigrant grandfather Frederick Trump, was among other things a brothel owner or to put it less delicately a pimp.

In 1891, Trump moved to Seattle, in the newly admitted U.S. state of Washington. With his life savings of several hundred dollars, he bought the Poodle Dog, which he renamed the Dairy Restaurant, and supplied it with new tables, chairs, and a range.[2] Located at 208 Washington Street, the Dairy Restaurant was in the middle of Seattle's Red Light District; Washington Street was nicknamed "the Line" and included an assortment of saloons, casinos, and brothels. Biographer Gwenda Blair called it "a hotbed of sex, booze, and money, [it] was the indisputable center of the action in Seattle."[3]:41 The restaurant served food and liquor and was advertised to include "Rooms for Ladies", a common euphemism for prostitution.[3]:50
So with that background perhaps it is not too surprising that the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, had a Super Bowl party where he posed with one Li "Cindy" Yang, an enterprising "businesswoman" who among other things owns massage parlors and previously owned the day spa where Trump buddy, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft allegedly paid women for a "happy ending".

Seated at a round table littered with party favors and the paper-cutout footballs that have become tradition at his annual Super Bowl Watch Party, President Donald Trump cheered the New England Patriots and his longtime friend, team owner Robert Kraft, to victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Feb. 3.

Sometime during the party at Trump’s West Palm Beach country club, the president turned in his chair to look over his right shoulder, smiling for a photo with two women at a table behind him.

The woman who snapped the blurry Super Bowl selfie with the president was Li Yang, 45, a self-made entrepreneur from China who started a chain of Asian day spas in South Florida. Over the years, these establishments — many of which operate under the name Tokyo Day Spas — have gained a reputation for offering sexual services.

Nineteen days after Trump and Yang posed together while rooting for the Patriots, authorities would charge Kraft with soliciting prostitution at a spa in Jupiter that Yang had founded more than a decade earlier.

It says something about how dirty Trump is that being caught in a photo with a sleazy foreign born alleged pimp who allegedly exploits and sells her own people is not such a big deal for Trump. For most other Presidents it would have been. I can only imagine the Republican reaction were President Obama caught taking pictures with foreign born Democratic PAC contributors who just happened to own escort agencies. And it would only get worse if one of President Obama's best buddies was busted in a no-tell motel after getting busy with a $50/hr hooker. People would want to know who, what, when, were and how. If people believed that President Obama was having adulterous sex with adult film stars or Playboy models we would never hear the end of it.

Of course one of the most important themes in America and certainly the key thread in Trump's life is that money rules over everything. One lasting result of Trump's victory will be that when you have such big scandals and indifference to normal ethical standards, people ignore the relatively smaller scummy stuff that you do. Yang and people like her buy access to politicians, who don't really care about how they got the money they're spending.
